Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using ClinPath, operated at clinpath.in (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who Can Use ClinPath

ClinPath is intended for individuals aged 18 and above who are pursuing or planning a career in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry, primarily in India. By using the Platform, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your Account

To access certain features, you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@clinpath.in

You may not create accounts for others, share your account login, or use automated tools to create or access accounts.

3. Plans & Subscriptions

ClinPath offers three tiers:

• Free — 1 CV generation, 1 ATS check, 1 interview session, 1 cover letter generation, access to Mindset Corner, Courses, Blog, and ClinRadar browse mode. Always free, no credit card required.
• Job Alerts (₹99/month) — full ClinRadar job board access with domain and city filters, plus daily pharma job digest emails.
• Pro (₹299/month) — everything in Job Alerts plus unlimited CV Builder, ATS Checker, Interview Prep, Cover Letter AI, PDF/DOCX export, and full Certification Prep access.

All paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain paid access until then. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price changes take effect.

4. AI-Generated Content & AI Usage Disclosure

ClinPath uses Claude by Anthropic as our AI model to power the CV Builder, ATS Checker, Interview Prep, Cover Letter AI, Mindset Corner, and 90-Day Roadmap. By using these tools, you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content (CVs, scores, interview questions, emotional support responses) is provided as a starting point and may not be accurate, complete, or suitable for every situation.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any AI-generated content in your job applications or professional communications.
• ClinPath does not guarantee that using our tools will result in employment or interview success.
• The Mindset Corner provides motivational AI support only. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in distress, please seek help from a qualified professional.
• All AI calls are processed server-side through our secure API routes. Your inputs are not used to train AI models and are not retained by Anthropic beyond the duration of the request.

The “AI model” badge visible in our tools refers to Claude (Anthropic). ClinPath does not claim to have built the underlying language model — we have built the prompts, context, domain knowledge layer, and product experience on top of it.

5. ClinRadar — Job Data & Legal Scraping Disclosure

ClinRadar aggregates publicly available pharma job listings through a daily automated pipeline. We use only legally compliant methods:

• Authorised APIs — SerpAPI (licensed Google Search API access) for discovering publicly indexed job listings.
• Public web listings — job postings that are openly accessible to any internet user on Naukri, LinkedIn, and company career pages. We access only publicly visible content and respect robots.txt directives.
• Email-based alerts— job alert emails received in ClinPath-owned Gmail accounts that subscribed to public job alert services. We do not access any user's personal email account.

Job listings are AI-classified, normalised, and stored as structured data — they are not reproduced verbatim. ClinRadar does not store any candidate, applicant, or personal data from external platforms — only job metadata (title, company, location, domain, source URL).

If you are a company or job board and have concerns about a listing appearing on ClinRadar, please contact us at legal@clinpath.in and we will review and remove it within 48 hours.

6. Courses & External Links — Copyright & Curation Notice

The Free Course Finder curates links to educational resources hosted on external platforms (WHO, CDISC, NIH, FDA, Coursera, Johns Hopkins, SAS Institute, Pharmuni, StatQuest, YouTube, and others). ClinPath:

• Does not create, host, reproduce, or re-publish any course content
• Provides links only— all content opens on the original provider's website
• Writes original, independently authored descriptions of each resource — we do not copy course descriptions or syllabi from external sites
• Does not claim copyright over any external course content

All course provider names, trademarks, and logos belong to their respective owners. ClinPath is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the external course providers listed on our platform.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or continued free access of external resources. Course availability may change without notice on the provider's end.

7. Certification Prep — Important Disclaimer

• CCDM®is a registered trademark of the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM). ClinPath's certification prep content is independently authored by a CCDM®-certified professional based on publicly available CDM knowledge and personal exam experience.
• ClinPath does not reproduce official SCDM exam questions, GCDMP© text, or any copyrighted examination content.
• All practice MCQs are original questions written by our content team. They are designed to test domain knowledge in the same areas covered by official exams — they are not leaked, copied, or derived from official exam banks.
• For official certification information, exam registration, and authoritative study materials, always refer to the respective certification body (scdm.org, diaglobal.org, raps.org, acrpnet.org).

8. Expert Bookings

ClinPath facilitates 1:1 career mentoring sessions between users and domain experts. By booking a session, you agree to:

• Attend at the scheduled time or give at least 12 hours' notice to reschedule
• Use the session for legitimate career guidance purposes only
• Treat the expert with professional courtesy
• Not record the session without the expert's explicit consent

Expert names and identities are kept confidential to protect their privacy. Sessions are conducted on Google Meet. A calendar invite with the Meet link is sent to the email address you provide at booking. Optionally, you may provide a phone number for a WhatsApp confirmation — this is not mandatory.

Paid sessions are subject to our Refund Policy.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ClinPath for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content to our AI tools
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy ClinPath's tools, UI, or data
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Platform
• Share or resell ClinPath Pro access, generated CVs, or platform content for commercial purposes without our written permission
• Circumvent free-tier limits through multiple accounts or other means
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users, experts, or ClinPath staff

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.

10. Intellectual Property

All original content on ClinPath — including the platform design, AI system prompts, roadmap templates, independently authored certification prep questions, course descriptions, and blog articles — is owned by or licensed to ClinPath. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without explicit written permission.

Content you generate using ClinPath tools (e.g. your CV, your ATS score, your cover letter) belongs to you. By submitting content to our Platform, you grant ClinPath a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to process and store that content solely to provide our services to you.

ClinPath does not claim ownership over third-party course content, external job listings, or any content sourced from external providers. All external trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners.

11. Disclaimers

ClinPath is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the Platform will be available 100% of the time
• That AI-generated content will be accurate or error-free
• That using ClinPath will result in job placement or interview success
• That curated course links will always remain active or free
• That ClinRadar will capture every pharma job opening in India

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, ClinPath and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. Continued use of ClinPath after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
