Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident about every rupee you spend on ClinPath. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for Pro subscriptions and expert session bookings.

If you have any questions, reach out to us at support@clinpath.in and we will respond within 48 hours on business days.

1. Pro Subscription — 7-Day Refund Guarantee

If you subscribed to ClinPath Pro and are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your first payment, we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

To request a refund under this guarantee, email support@clinpath.in within 7 days of your first payment with the subject line “Pro Refund Request”. Please include the email address associated with your account.

We will process your refund within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

Renewals

Monthly renewal payments are not eligible for refunds unless there was a technical error on our side (e.g. you were charged twice, or charged after cancelling). In such cases, please contact us and we will investigate and refund promptly.

Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. After cancellation, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing cycle. No further charges will be made. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund unless you are within the 7-day window.

2. Expert 1:1 Session Bookings

Cancellations by you

  • More than 24 hours before the session: Full refund issued within 5–7 business days.
  • Between 12–24 hours before the session: 50% refund, or option to reschedule once at no charge.
  • Less than 12 hours before the session (no-show): No refund. We compensate the expert for their reserved time.

Cancellations by the expert

If an expert cancels or does not show up for a scheduled session, you will receive a full refund and the option to rebook at no charge. We take expert reliability seriously and this situation is rare.

Session quality

If you felt a session did not meet a reasonable standard of quality or professionalism, please contact us with details. We review each complaint and may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion.

3. Free Tier

Free tier usage (CV generations, ATS checks, interview sessions) is provided at no charge and is not eligible for any monetary refund or credit. Free tier limits are enforced per account and cannot be transferred.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@clinpath.in with the subject line matching your request type (e.g. “Pro Refund Request” or “Session Cancellation — [Date]”)
  2. Include the email address associated with your ClinPath account
  3. Include your Razorpay order/payment ID if available (found in your payment confirmation email)
  4. Briefly describe the reason for your request

We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours (business days) and process eligible refunds within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

5. Payment Disputes

If you notice an incorrect charge on your account, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving issues quickly and chargebacks are disruptive for both parties. We will work with you to fix any billing errors.

6. Indian Consumer Protection

This Refund Policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India). Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable Indian consumer protection laws.
